Project Overview – Apartment Renovation in Playa de Palma, Mallorca

This project involved the complete renovation of a ground-floor apartment in Playa de Palma, Mallorca, transforming it into a modern, cohesive, and highly functional holiday home.

The objective was to create a comfortable, visually appealing, and efficient living space, optimised for both short-term use and long-term durability, with a strong focus on both interior and outdoor usability.


Interior Design and Layout Optimisation

The interior was fully updated with the installation of high-quality laminated flooring throughout, providing a warm, durable, and contemporary finish.

All walls, doors, and built-in cabinets were carefully prepared and repainted, resulting in a clean and unified look. Two feature walls were refined with a complementary finish to subtly enhance the overall aesthetic.

To improve spatial flow and natural light, the wall separating the kitchen and living area was removed, creating an open-plan layout that enhances both usability and the sense of space.


Kitchen and Bathroom Renovation

The bathroom underwent a full refurbishment, including new fixtures, fittings, tiling, and finishes, creating a modern and efficient space.

A completely new kitchen was designed and installed, incorporating updated cabinetry, countertops, and appliances to maximise both functionality and visual consistency within the apartment.


Technical Upgrades and Installation

The apartment was upgraded with a full individual air conditioning system, ensuring efficient climate control across all rooms.

The electrical system was fully renewed to meet current standards, improving both safety and reliability.

Modern lighting solutions were installed throughout the apartment, enhancing both ambiance and energy efficiency.

Furniture, both existing and newly supplied, was carefully positioned to optimise layout, accessibility, and day-to-day functionality.


Outdoor and Terrace Renovation

The outdoor areas were fully upgraded to extend the living space beyond the interior.

This included the renovation of the terrace and garden areas, improving layout, usability, and overall visual integration with the apartment.

A new jacuzzi installation was added, creating a dedicated outdoor relaxation area and enhancing the overall comfort of the property.

In addition, terrace furniture was selected and installed, completing the outdoor setup and creating a functional space for relaxation and everyday use.


Project Objective and Outcome

As the property is intended for use as a holiday home, the renovation focused on achieving the right balance between quality, durability, and cost-efficiency, while also enhancing outdoor living.

The result is a refined and practical apartment, combining modern interior design with functional outdoor space, ready for immediate use.

Following completion, the property is now under our ongoing property management and maintenance, including garden and outdoor care.

This ensures that the property remains in optimal condition, with continuous oversight and support tailored to the client’s needs, particularly important for non-resident owners.
